ASSEMBLED OUTCOME!
ASSEMBLED went really well. It was one of their slower days since they are coming to the end of the summer but it was great weather and people came thru all day. I plan on doing a couple more shows before the summer is over but I'm also looking forward to Holiday markets. Hopefully I can get some electricity to light up the night!!

New 2013 Goal: Best of Boston 40th Anniversary
My new goal of 2013, which I decided this morning is to go to every restaurant and bar on Best of Boston's 40th Anniversary list. My first stop is Toro's Spanish Tapa's Bar in the South End, 1704 Washington Street, Boston. They are best known for their "crusty pan con tomate and aioli-smothered tortilla espanola mingle with refreshingly less-traditional small plates such as roasted bone marrow with radish-citrus salad and oxtail marmalade" - Best of Boston
Stay posted for my review!!
and first Bar Stop is DRINK, 328 Congress Street, Boston

MAPMYRUN-BEST NEW APPLICATION
Check out Map My Run on your cellphone. It's an application that you run with and it tracks your avg. minute per mile, mph, mileage, maps your route, and congratulates you at the end of your run. The best part of the application is that you can directly upload your stats onto Facebook. Then everyone can see how fast and far you ran and it makes you work even harder to do it even better the next day!!
It's a really great alternative to those expensive $100.00 wrist bands that track all the same information.
ASSEMBLED: The Handmade Arts Market at Assembly Row
Come see me and Jessica Pierce, selling custom cell phone cases and coasters at ASSEMBLED on Saturday August 17th!!
Called ASSEMBLED!, the market at Somerville's Assembly Row. It's being billed as a "handmade arts market," and, as such, will feature dozens of crafters from rotating groups. The first ASSEMBLED! draws artists from Boston Etsy, who will showcase a range of unique goods such as jewelry, photography, t-shirts and more.
All that shopping will get you hungry, and lucky for you, ASSEMBLED! has a roster of food trucks on hand to nourish you each Saturday:
- Bon Me
- Away Café
- Boston Super Dog
- Compliments
- Frozen Hoagies
- Grilled Cheese Nation
- Paris Creperie
- The Happy Taco
And, while details are scarce on the bands who will be playing, ASSEMBLED! reportedly has a lineup of musical performances, too.
ASSEMBLED! will take place on 16 Saturdays throughout the summer, beginning May 18 and ending September 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
